Legacy of Love Elder Mission honors older adults as parents, workers, veterans, neighbors, builders, friends, and keepers of family memory. We raise support for care access navigation, companionship, caregiver relief planning, prayer when welcomed, community service opportunities, and practical help for elders and families in need.

Legacy of Love Elder Mission supports older adults and families through non-medical care access navigation, companionship, caregiver relief planning, practical guidance, volunteer coordination, approved charitable support, and optional prayer or spiritual support when requested.

When requested, Legacy offers prayer, scripture reading, spiritual encouragement, and respectful presence without forcing religion on anyone.

Family caregivers often carry stress quietly. We help them think through next steps, find resources, and feel less alone.

Community service and volunteer hours

We give local volunteers a structured way to serve elders and, when appropriate, receive verification letters for completed hours.

Community outreach and partner visits

Legacy will reach families through local churches, senior centers, neighborhood groups, small businesses, and community events.

Clear support for real elder-support needs

Donations support approved charitable elder-support needs. We are building careful records from the beginning so donors can understand how support moves from a gift into practical care, including reasonable program and administrative costs needed to coordinate the work.

Care access and support

How a donation becomes documented help.

The idea is simple: supporters help fund the work, Legacy finds or receives requests from elders and families, then we review needs, coordinate approved non-medical support, and keep records. When paid in-home care is needed, we help families understand appropriate IHSS, registered caregiver, licensed provider, or community-partner paths.

As our tools grow, intake and scheduling can be managed through our own systems, but the nonprofit decision stays with Legacy: each supported need should fit the mission, be documented, and benefit elders or caregivers. Some donated funds may also support the administration, communications, insurance, recordkeeping, and program systems needed to run the work responsibly.

  1. Families, elders, volunteers, churches, or community partners tell Legacy about an elder-support need.
  2. Legacy reviews the request, confirms it fits our charitable purpose, and records the basic facts before funds are used.
  3. Donations may support approved non-medical companionship, volunteer help, resource navigation, supplies, transportation coordination, or care-access planning.
  4. When paid in-home help is needed, Legacy helps families understand and connect with appropriate IHSS providers, registered caregivers, licensed providers, or community partners instead of acting as an unlicensed home-care agency.
  5. Requests, referrals, support actions, program expenses, and follow-up notes are documented so donors and the board can see how support became real help.

We are planning a future pathway connected to peaceful donated space in Colombia, where caregivers, elders, volunteers, and families may be able to rest, pray or reflect if they choose, eat simply, and reconnect with dignity. We will share progress carefully so supporters understand how this work fits the mission.
