Donate

Sponsor care that an elder or family can feel.

Donations help Legacy provide approved charitable support such as companionship, caregiver relief planning, resource navigation, basic supplies, transportation coordination, and family follow-up.

Donation purpose

Where support goes

We are new, and we are building carefully. Each donation is used to help fund mission-related elder support and the practical systems needed to run that support responsibly: communication, records, outreach, volunteer coordination, administration, and support documentation.

  • Support non-medical care access navigation, companionship, and family follow-up
  • Help families plan caregiver relief through appropriate IHSS, registered caregiver, licensed provider, volunteer, or community-resource paths
  • Help with approved practical items such as basic supplies, transportation coordination, documentation, and resource navigation
  • Support reasonable program operations and administration needed to deliver, document, and report the work
  • Build volunteer systems, recordkeeping, communications, and donor reporting
  • Support future restorative programs only when they are tied directly to the charitable mission

Care access model

What happens after someone gives.

A donation is not a vague promise. Legacy uses donations to respond to approved elder-support needs, coordinate the right non-medical help, cover reasonable program and administrative costs, and keep records of the support provided.

We look for elders and families who need help, listen to caregivers, and work with volunteers, IHSS and registered-caregiver resources, licensed providers, and community partners so support can become actual guidance, relief, and companionship.

  1. Families, elders, volunteers, churches, or community partners tell Legacy about an elder-support need.
  2. Legacy reviews the request, confirms it fits our charitable purpose, and records the basic facts before funds are used.
  3. Donations may support approved non-medical companionship, volunteer help, resource navigation, supplies, transportation coordination, or care-access planning.
  4. When paid in-home help is needed, Legacy helps families understand and connect with appropriate IHSS providers, registered caregivers, licensed providers, or community partners instead of acting as an unlicensed home-care agency.
  5. Requests, referrals, support actions, program expenses, and follow-up notes are documented so donors and the board can see how support became real help.
